Ingredients:
Step 1:
Mince Marinade
• Beef mince (Qeema) 850 grams
• Ginger & garlic paste (Adrak lehsan paste) 1 tbsp
• Salt (Namak) 1 tsp
• Crushed red chili (Lal mirch) 1 tsp
• Italian seasoning 1/2 tsp
• Black pepper powder (Kali mirch powder) 1 tsp
• Coriander powder (Dhania powder) 1 tsp
• Sumac 1 tsp
• Baking soda 1/2 tsp
• Cayenne pepper 1 tsp
• Crushed cumin seeds (Zeera) 1 tsp
• Lemon juice 1 tbsp
• Green chili chopped (Hari mirch) 1
• Parsley chopped 4 tbsp
• Onion chopped (Pyaz) 1 large (squeeze out excess water)
• Oil for frying Step 2: Saute Vegetables
• Oil 1 tbsp • Capsicum cubes (Shimla mirch) 2
• Onion cubes (Pyaz) 1/2 • Tomato slices (Tamatar) 1
• Black pepper powder (Kali mirch powder) 1/4 tsp
• Salt (Namak) 1/4 tsp
• Sumac 1/4 tsp
• Lemon juice 1/2 tsp
Directions:
Step 1
In a chopper, add beef mince, ginger & garlic paste, salt, crushed red chili, Italian seasoning, black pepper powder, coriander powder, sumac, baking soda, cayenne pepper, crushed cumin seeds, lemon juice, green chili, parsley, onion and chop until well combined. Refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours. Grease your hands with oil, take a mixture and make kababs. Method 1 In frying pan, add cooking oil, place kofta kebabs and fry on medium flame from all sides until done. (approx 6-8 minutes). Method 2 Heat a grill over medium-high heat. Coat grill with oil or cooking spray. Place kofta kebabs and cook until completely done.
Step 2
In the same pan, heat oil. Add capsicum, onion and saute for thirty seconds on high flame. Now add tomato slices, black pepper powder, salt, sumac, lemon juice, mix well and saute for one-two minutes on high flame. Turkish Kofta Kebab are ready serve with sautéed veg and saffron rice.
