Ingredients:
• Milk (Doodh) 1.5 liter
• Green cardamom powder (Hari elaichi powder) 1/2 tsp
• Saffron strands 1 pinch
• Sugar (Cheeni) 4 tbsp
• Half & half 2 cups
• Almonds chopped (Badam) 1 tbsp
• Pistachios chopped (Pista) 1 tbsp
• Kewra water 1 tsp
• Khoya/Mawa 200 grams
• Sweetened condensed milk 397 grams
• Corn starch 3 tbsp+Water 4 tbsp
• Almonds chopped (Badam) as required
• Pistachios chopped (Pista) as required
Directions:
In a pot, add milk, green cardamom powder, stir and bring it to boil. Add saffron strands, stir, and cook on low flame for 15 minutes. Add sugar, mix well and cook for another 5 minutes or until sugar dissolves. Add half & half, almonds, pistachios, kewra water, stir and cook on high to medium heat for 5 minutes. Now add khoya/mawa, stir it and melt it. Add sweetened condensed milk, stir it and cook for 1 minute. Add oobleck, stir well and cook until milk thickens. Now turn off flame and rest it until it become room temperature. Add almonds, pistachios, prepared batter into a airtight container and freeze it into freezer for 24 hours. Shahi Kulfa is Ready!
