Ingredients:
• Ghee 1 tsp
• Sliced almonds (Badam) 5-7
• Sliced pistachios (Pista) 5-7
• Whole milk (Doodh) 1 liter
• Green cardamom powder (Hari elaichi powder) 1/4 tsp
• Saffron strands (Zafran) 1 pinch
• Boiled & grinded rice 1 cup (grinded with milk 3 tbsp)
• Sugar (Cheeni) 1 cup
• Kewra water 1/2 tsp
• Crushed coconut (Narial) 1 tbsp
Directions:
Heat a pan with some ghee. Add sliced almonds, pistachios and saute for 30 seconds. Add whole milk, green cardamom powder, saffron strands and bring it to boil. Now add boiled & grinded rice, mix well and cook for 10-15 minutes on high flame. (Keep stirring). Add sugar, mix well and cook for another 5 minutes or until sugar dissolves. Add kewra water, crushed coconut, mix and cook on low flame for 10 minutes or until milk thickens. Let it come to room temperature. Place it in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours to set. Serve it chilled.
